Bendix brakes manufactures many original equipment brake pads and shoes. Aftermarket parts are many times better than the original equipment parts and usually cost less money, as there is no middle-man mark up, (new car dealership).

Go to Advance Auto Parts or Autozone and get the better grade brake pads and shoes.

Using the cruise control saves fuel, as well as wear and tear on the engine. If the vehicle is going up a hill, the transmission will automatically downshift to maintain the speed of the vehicle. No problem. Cruise control is not meant for busy stop and go traffic. That's it.

Unless someone is trained in the proper use of an electric buffer, it's very common to burn swirl marks into the paint with it. I don't recommend them at all.
