Yep , I always use synthetic oil . That is what my year is called for. Not sure about a 2004 if they were labeled with non-synthetic. Even if they did I would stick to a synthetic. It`s a small price difference and they are much better oils.

PS , I have the 2014 Corolla and 0w-20 oil is required. Not sure what the 2004 corolla uses. Is it listed on top the oil plug?

I usually change my synthetic oil on my 2014 around 5000 miles. There are others who will go longer and even some who will change sooner.

dbp108 , those rubber wheel chocks are listed in a flyer I got in the mail on page 3 for $4.99 each . Don`t know if those coupons are available on their website or not.
