2001 GLS - Does it have Satnav? U.K.

Maybe Google -> 2001 Corolla, Satnav I'd be surprised if a 2001 Corolla had satellite navigation.

    Stock Tires

Remember to rotate and re-balance the tires every six months or 6,000 miles, whichever comes first. Lifetime balance/rotation packages can be purchased where you can then get this service done for free for as long as the tires are on the car. Regular rotating and re-balancing will greatly...

    2006 - Alignment?

It has to be equal for a proper four wheel alignment, which is what a Corolla needs, not a front wheel alignment.

    Stock Tires

Glad to be of help. Anytime you need a hand, just come on over to the Toyota Corolla Forum. :) The personnel at Goodyear company owned stores tend to be very professional and really know what they are doing. I used to work for them. For a good used wheel check -->...

1998 Corolla Rack and Pinion DIY

Don't forget to immediately do a four-wheel alignment on the car after this work is completed, or excessive tire wear can occur that will shorten the life of the tires, reduce fuel economy and also reduce safe handling.

    Stock Tires

I knew they'd take care of you better than the dealership would. When it comes to tires and alignment issues, typically dealerships know just about this --> 0 When you say tire shop, I presume you mean a company owned Goodyear tire/service center? No one tire can do it all and tires that...

After sitting for a year, the engine oil has chemically degraded. Change it immediately.

    Rim Size

The rim size isn't the issue, it's the tire size. Why would you want to change the tire size, especially with a brand new vehicle? The speedometer would read incorrectly, as would the odometer and the ABS brakes would not function properly.

    Round 2...

People that neglect their vehicles end up spending a lot more money on repairs than people who maintain their vehicles. That car is a wreck. What a crying shame.

    2005 Corolla Engine Clicking Sound

Yowza, a rubber serpentine belt damaged a metal water pump? I wonder how that happened??? Just how did they explain that one? They perform a repair that didn't solve the problem you brought the car in for and it just so happens that only one day later the repair they had...

    2005 Corolla AEM Dryflow Test?

I think the size of the air filter is not a set size, as there are many different air filter sizes.

    2005 Corolla Engine Clicking Sound

A serpentine belt that isn't frayed or cracked isn't in need of replacing, unless it is severely glazed/very shiny. Go back and ask for your old serpentine belt. If they have to dig through the trash, that's their problem. It's your belt, worth $124. When you go back, ask to speak to the...

    2005 Corolla Engine Clicking Sound

If you bring a vehicle to an auto center for a specific repair, (which in this case was to diagnose and repair an objectionable noise), and the repair they recommended didn't address the issues you brought in the vehicle for, then you have every legal right to demand your money back per any...

    Need Some Octane Idea's/Help

That's racing fuel. I've never seen any street driven vehicle that has a recommendation for racing fuel. Have you tried Googling the recommended octane fuel for that engine? I'm unaware of any street driven vehicle that can't get by on Premium fuel, even high performance vehicles. The...

    2005 Corolla Engine Clicking Sound

That is a bit high for a belt tensioner, but not ridiculous. I have 172,000 miles on the original belt tensioner in my car and it's doing just fine. You could always go to another auto center or two and get a second opinion by just asking them if they could check the belt tensioner and get their...

    Aftermarket Upgrades

They can't void the warranty because of aftermarket parts. That's illegal and is in violation of the Federal law known as the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. Google it.
