Rims for my 2015 corolla L

That is not a rule. It’s an opinion. You can do whatever you want. It’s your car. So if you want to follow that “rule” then great but if not then do whatever you want. Just my opinion.

Rims for my 2015 corolla L

But you don’t have to. Even with a 17, you can get a 17x7 a 17x8 and so on. So I fuel economy is a concern then go for a bigger, skinnier rim. It might look goofy from the front or back hahah but it’s an avoidable issue. Lol

    Exhaust Help!

Obviously your not worried about being emissions compliant? Lol. But I think you can get little spacers for the o2 sensors that “trick” the ecu and not set a check engine light. But I’m sure a quick google search can give you a more definitive answer.

Rims for my 2015 corolla L

Not necessarily true, if you keep the overall diameter the same, there should be very minimal, if any, reduction in mpg. Bigger rim = smaller sidewall on the tire but smaller rim = taller sidewall but if the overall diameter doesn’t change then there shouldn’t be any change.

FRS wheels for 2016 Corolla LE....

The 5mm spacer will fit just fine. But the 20mm, you will have to get a bolt on style or longer studs. The spacers I have are 15mm bolt on style that are hub centric. I also had to put on a set of hub rings. But no issues so far.

Rims for my 2015 corolla L

17’s do look good. I just picked up a set of Scion FRS wheels for my 16 LE and got rid of the steelies with hub caps. I had to run spacers due to the difference in offset, so I went with some 15mm. The wheels sit almost flush with the fenders. Looks good IMO. Next is TRD lowering springs. Also...

I got everything installed, haven’t taken any pics yet. Question tho, what torque did you set the spacer bolts to? I have mine torqued to 86 ft lbs. same with the lug nuts holding he wheel to the spacer. I’ve read anywhere from 85-90 ft lbs. does that seem right?

Ya I was having clearance issues on the brake calipers. I have a set of 15mm spacers on order for the front and rear.

FRS wheels for 2016 Corolla LE....

Update.... I bought the wheels, and hub rings. It all bolts up. The issue now is the front rims hit the calipers so now a wheel spacers is needed. I’m thinking about going with some 25mm from wheel adapters USA and some longer open ended lug nuts. Just to be sure the studs are 12x1.5 right?

FRS wheels for 2016 Corolla LE....

Never mind, after a lot of research I’ve come to the conclusion that will fit. And I used willtheyfit.com (great site btw) another question tho, the hub bore on the frs wheels is 56.1mm and the hub on the corolla is 54.1 mm, do I need hub rings for that small of a gap?
