i beg to differ but there is a big difference between manual and auto, at least on the s model ( i drive one) when in manual you get a more responsive throttle and its way more fun to drive on manual.

i just got a magna flow exhaust and going for a cold air upgrade. the ONLY WAY TO HAVE FUN WITH THE COROLLA IS DRIVING IT ON MANUAL and with the aftermarket exhaust sound amazing.

i have a knocking noise coming from the engine when standing still, the noise goes away when i put the car in neutral, so i took it to the dealer and they told me that the noise is normal, and that if i want it gone i should use higher octane.
