What year Corolla do you own? Standard or automatic transmission? Is that fuel economy with 100% real gas, or with the fuel economy robbing ethanol mix? Is your Corolla stock?

That's impressive fuel economy. Is that with a standard or automatic transmission? Is the vehicle stock, or have modifications for better fuel economy been done?

When you say adjustable suspension, are you referring to the system's that are on the lowrider vehicles, where they can raise and lower the vehicle? Is this what you mean?

Interesting. My guess would be that with the thermostat malfunctioning and causing higher engine temperatures, that the increased temperatures caused the petroleum oil to evaporate/burn off faster, increasing oil consumption.

I concur. Federal E.P.A. laws usually prohibit engine swaps to another engine size or type and in states that have annual inspections with emissions testing, you might have a problem getting the vehicle to pass inspection. A good used engine of the proper, original equipment size and type...

Yes, I saw that, but I assumed if I saved a copy of sent messages that this would clog up my in box with saved sent messages and detract from the total of 50 allowed messages? Which brings up the 50 message limit, which when this forum gets rockin' and rollin' does seem like a very small amount...

Thanks Nathan. Now it works. :) Another thing I've noticed is that when I sent a P.M. today, the system said I didn't have any sent P.M.'s, even though I'd just sent one. Something needs fixing there.

Why not just have replacement sections of frame welded in to repair it?
