I have a 2012 Corolla S with 43,000 miles and just recently started having the same problems this year with running the A/C on or off. Sitting at a red light, the RPM starts at 900 RPMS and suddenly drops to 600 RPMS almost causing the engine to stall out. Please let me know what you find...
